Meet Our Therapists
HI, I’M ASHLEY HUGHES, LMSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I completed my Masters in Social Work at the University of Michigan in 2018, and have been working as an individual therapist ever since.
I specialize in:
OCD
Anxiety
Phobias
Panic Disorders
Life Transitions
Self-Esteem
Communication and Assertiveness
Relationship Concerns
My clients tend to be young adults and adolescents, and usually women or non-binary individuals. I utilize a heartfelt, collaborative approach to find the tools that best fit the individual and to focus on areas you would like to focus on.. Together, we will explore your emotions, strengths, and values, work on areas you would like to focus on, and use new skills to handle life's obstacles with confidence.
These areas may involve us working on coping skills, mindfulness, interpersonal and problem solving skills, and becoming more empowered and comfortable with different emotions to understand and accept oneself better overall. I often use use ERP (exposure therapy), CBT, ACT or a mix of modalities with my clients, which we decide together based on their needs.
I have committed myself to social justice and advocacy, recognizing the significant effects that organizational structures and cultural contexts can have on the health and well-being of individuals. I strive to be open and inclusive.
HI, I’M TONI HUGHES, LLMSW, MSSA
I completed my Masters at Case Western Reserve University in 2022. During my time there, I did two internships. One was working in a clubhouse model along side clients to assist them in gaining skills, and the second was a child/teen therapist. While at Case, I received a trauma-informed therapy certification. Since graduation, I have been working as an individual therapist.
I specialize in:
Working with children and teenagers
LGBTQIA2+
Trauma
Anxiety
OCD
Behavioral Difficulties
ADHD
As a queer therapist, I am passionate about working affirmingly and supportively with those in the LGBTQIA2+ community–which includes writing gender-affirming letters. When working with clients, I favor using a client-centered approach where you decide what we focus on, because you are the expert of your story.
The main modalities I utilize are CBT, ACT, and DBT. These are used in an eclectic way; where I pull from other modalities and expressive therapeutic techniques, such as art or play activities, based on client feedback and interests on what they’re finding helpful and supportive. I use a phase-based approach for doing trauma work.
I aim to create a space for clients where they can feel safe to be who they are, and where we can work alongside each other in a collaborative manner to help you reach your therapy goals.
